Myles Maxey is the Director and joined the KCDDS team in 2020. He graduated from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Child Science and is completing his dissertation work to finish up a PhD in Human Development and Family Studies from The Utah State University. Myles has years of experience in the intellectual and developmental disabilities services field spanning across provider services, case management services, and state government. Myles was born and raised in Southern New Mexico, but has also lived in Washington, Utah, and Oregon. In his free time, Myles enjoys spending time with his family, engaging in disability advocacy and research, and refereeing high school sports.
Heidi Gaither is the Deputy Director and began working at KCDDS in 2018. Heidi earned a Masters in Social Work from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology from Oregon Tech. Before joining the team at KCDDS, Heidi’s background included working in residential treatment, early childhood education programs, and organizational development. A Klamath Falls native, Heidi appreciates the abundance of outdoor activities and opportunities this area provides. In her free time, Heidi enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs, entertaining friends and family, crafting, and creating one-of-a-kind custom cakes.
Suzy Rogers is the Senior Chief Office Deputy for KCDDS. Klamath Falls is her hometown. She worked at JELD-WEN for 17 years in the Policies & Procedures department and continued in various Customer Service and Project Management positions while there. She and her husband also have a small acreage farm where they raise horses and cattle. In their spare time, they enjoy spending time with their children and grandchild, camping, traveling, anything outdoors and visiting the coast.
Drew Tessler is the Case Manager Supervisor and started at KCDDS in 2018. He has spent the past 25 years working closely with people with disabilities as an educator, case manager, and as an instructional specialist. Drew and his daughters enjoy spending time hiking, gardening, taking road trips and trying to figure out why their three dogs are such brats.
Jolene Newman is a Quality Assurance and Improvement Managerand started working for KCDDS in 2020. She is a native of Utah and relocated to Klamath Falls to join the KCDDS team. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Marriage and Family Studies from BYU-Idaho and is currently working on an M.A. in Human Services through Regent University. When not working or going to school, Jolene loves to explore Oregon and travel around the world, including her favorite places like Germany, Croatia, Alaska, or back to Utah to visit family. She is an avid Broadway musical fan and loves visiting New York City to see the latest shows.
Christian Vargas-Arias is the Office Technician (bi-lingual) and started working at KCDDS in 2021. Prior to working at KCDDS, he worked as a Healthy Families Home Visitor for KBBH. Christian, along with his entire family, is a native to Klamath Falls. In his free time Christian collects Funko Figures and spends time with his kids. He and his family like to travel and go out to the woods. They enjoy trips to the beach when visiting family in California.
Lea Brophy is the Administrative Support Coordinator and started working at KCDDS in 2021. Prior to working at KCDDS, she worked for JELD-WEN. She is a native Oregonian, enjoys living in a small community. When not working, Lea enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, and listening to music.
Madison Meyer is the Provider Support Coordinator and started working at KCDDS in 2018. Prior to working at KCDDS, she worked for an Oral Surgery Clinic in Bend. Madison relocated to Klamath Falls and appreciates the slower pace and small community. When she’s not working, Madison enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, dogs, and outdoors - including rafting, fishing, and hiking.
Case Management Team
Abby Rinehart is a Case Manager and started working for KCDDS in 2020. She graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences - Human Services, as well as a minor in Speech Communication. Prior to working at KCDDS, Abby worked for Disability Access Services on her campus and in adolescent mental health services. Abby has lived in Eastern and Western Oregon and is now excited to be a part of the community here in Southern Oregon! In her spare time, Abby enjoys gardening, spending time with family, and going on long walks.
Angela Robinson Akins is a Case Manager and started working for KCDDS in 2022.
Antony Judson is a Case Manager and started working for KCDDS in 2019. He was born and raised for the first 12 years of his life in Germany, as an Army BRAT. He can speak and write German fluently. He loves to travel and has lived in Germany, Georgia, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Washington twice, Oregon twice, and Arizona three times. He graduated from Old Dominion University with degrees in Human Services Counseling. He has worked as a Special Education Teacher, a Therapeutic Mentor for children with Autism, ran a Children’s Residential Treatment Program, worked in Child Welfare, was a Program Manager for a Residential Treatment Center that specialized in working with children with sensory needs/Autism and ran a shelter that specialized in working with children that were in the care of Child Welfare. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, and going to beach.
Bekah Mathis is a Case Manager and starting working for KCDDS in 2019. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor’s of Science in Anthropology with a focus in Archaeology and Culture. Bekah grew up in the Klamath Basin and loves the friendly community environment. Bekah loves the Pacific Northwest and the diverse culture and landscapes that it offers. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, hiking, gardening, and painting.
Brianne Bliss is a Case Manager and started working for KCDDS in 2022.
Brianne McBride is a Case Manager and started working at KCDDS in 2020. Brianne graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Sociology. Brianne grew up in Utah but has also lived in Washington, California, Idaho, and Germany. Brianne is enjoying the smaller community and the wonderful scenery. When not working, Brianne enjoys biking, reading books, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her niece and nephew.
Daniel Miller is a Case Manager for KCDDS and joined the team in 2021. Daniel has over four years’ experience with Klamath Basin Behavioral Health. Before that, he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Oregon Tech in Applied Psychology and volunteered for multiple agencies in the community. Daniel served four years (2005-2009) in the Marine Corps, where he was an Ordinance Technician. When not working he enjoys spending time with his family, watching his kids play softball, woodworking, and being outdoors.
Dustin Johnson is a Case Manager for KCDDS and joined the team in 2021. Dustin recently got married before starting at KCDDS. Dustin has over four years’ experience with Klamath Basin Behavioral Health. Before that, he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Oregon Tech in Applied Psychology. Dustin’s passion comes from sports and family. Dustin enjoys camping with family and friends and playing with his two dogs. When Dustin is not working he enjoys watching and playing sports.
Heather Reinke is a Case Manager and started working for KCDDS in 2021. Heather graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology with a Bachelors in Applied Psychology with a pre-education emphasis in 2011. Prior to working at KCDDS, Heather worked at Women, Infants & Children (WIC) as a Community Nutrition Worker. Heather has lived in Klamath Falls her whole life. When she’s not working she loves spending time with her boyfriend and their four children doing things like hiking, kayaking, camping, reading, and doing puzzles.
Holly Decker is a Case Manager and started working for KCDDS in 2021. She graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Agriculture Science. Prior to working at KCDDS, Holly worked for Dragonfly Transitions, a therapeutic treatment center for young adults, as the lead mentor. She grew up in Klamath Falls where she developed a passion for many aspects of the great outdoors, such as hunting, fishing, and camping. Her biggest joy is sharing this passion with her family and making memories.
Jamie Hursh is a Case Manager and started working for KCDDS services in 2021. Prior to working at KCDDS, Jamie worked at Women, Infants & Children (WIC) for 7 ½ years. Jamie has lived in Klamath Falls for the majority of her life. She loves spending time with her husband and two children. When she’s not working she enjoys kayaking, camping, and reading books.
Jeff Elliot is a Case Manager for KCDDS, he joined our team after 18 months with Southern Oregon Regional Brokerage, Jeff also comes from a vast military background. He served in the United States Air Force and Oregon Air National Guard for 34 years achieving the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. His passion in working with individuals with disabilities stems from a love of helping people and assisting them in finding their own path. He enjoys Klamath Falls because of the small community environment and less traffic. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, grand kids, playing guitar and coaching high school track.
Raquel Mendoza is a Case manager and started working for KCDDS in 2021. She is a native of Oregon and a Klamath Union graduate. She has a background in Human Services and has worked for Klamath County for ten years. She is excited to bring her knowledge of family resources in Klamath to KCDDS. She loves the small town feel of Klamath but is hopeful more activities for preteens and teenagers will come to Klamath. In her downtime she enjoys supporting her children in school sports and going on short weekend family trips. Her dream weekend would be a trip to the coast, purchasing a Goldendoodle, and seeing Maroon 5 in concert.
Teresa Cobian is a Bilingual Case Manager and started working at KCDDS in 2015. She graduated from Oregon Tech with a Bachelors of Applied Psychology and a Minor in Human Communication. Teresa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling to explore new cities, and journaling/scrapbooking. Teresa also loves music and enjoys concerts and festivals.
Adult Protective Services Team
Geneva Lewis is the Abuse Investigator and has been at KCDDS since 2017. Geneva’s career has been solely focused on ensuring members of our community remain safe. Prior to working at KCDDS she worked in Law Enforcement for 14 years and spent four years in the Marine Corps. Geneva appreciates that members of our community are personable and welcoming. When she is not working, Geneva enjoys working with her horses and swimming.
Asia Davis is the Lead Assessor. She started working at KCDDS in 2018 as a Case Manager. She graduated from Oregon State University—Cascades with a Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Family Science - Human Services. Prior to working at KCDDS, Asia worked for local mental health facilities. She grew up in Klamath Falls and appreciates the tight-knit community. When she’s not working, Asia enjoys gardening, working on her mini-farm, camping, and spending time with her children.
Cody Quayle is an Assessor and moved to Klamath County with his family in the summer of 2001 following his discharge from the Active Duty US Air Force in order to join the Oregon Air National Guard and attend school at Oregon Institute of Technology. After arriving he quickly put down roots and stayed to raise a family in the Klamath County community. He completed a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from OIT in 2016 and retired from the Oregon Air National Guard in 2018 at which time he joined the Klamath County DD Services Team as an Assessor and later a Services Coordinator. He enjoyed working with KCDDS until late 2020 when he took some time off to support his family through the COVID-19 pandemic. In July of 2021, he grabbed an opportunity rejoined the team as an Assessor and reenter the service of the Klamath County I/DD community. He says his favorite thing to do is travel and experience the culture and diversity of others.
Sarah Alderman is an Assessor and started working for KCDDS in 2020. She has spent most of her life in Oregon and moved to Klamath Falls in 2017 to finish schooling. She’s a proud ‘Hootie’ (OIT graduate) with a BS in Applied Psychology and is now thrilled to be a part of the KCDDS team. She loves spending time with her husband, their beloved ‘pup children’ (Chiquito and Maximus), and the wonderful friends she has met. She loves animals, enjoys outdoor exploration, music, cooking/baking, films, reading, and learning…always learning and growing!
Annette Van Riper is the Lead Eligibility Specialist and started working at KCDDS in 2011. Prior to working at KCDDS, Annette worked for the school district and in the mental health field. Annette loves the beautiful scenery and the small town feel of Klamath Falls. When she isn’t working, Annette enjoys camping, hiking, baking, and spending time with family.
Tina Scotton is the Eligibility Specialist and started working at KCDDS in 2018. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelors of Arts in Medieval Studies and completed a study abroad year in England. Tina also spent four years in the US Army and is a proud member of the Veteran community. Tina grew up in Klamath Falls and enjoys the year-round sunshine of the area. When she’s not working, Tina enjoys traveling, reading, writing, and singing.
Monitoring & Licensing Team
Ashley Dearing is the Monitoring Specialist and joined our team in 2019 as a Case Manager. She graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Applied Psychology, with a focus on Human Services. Ashley has been in case management since 2016 with the ID/DD community. She was born and raised in Klamath Falls. Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and children and exploring life together. When she’s not working Ashley enjoys gardening, geocaching, vacations, family time, and listening to music.
Terra Zumwalt is the Foster Home Certification and Licensing Specialist and also serves as the Designated Referral Contact. She started working at KCDDS in 2016. Terra graduated from Oregon Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology and a Masters in Forensic Psychology from Walden University. Terra grew up in Klamath Falls and is a proud member of the community. When she’s not working, Terra enjoys attending her children’s extracurricular activities, spending time with family, and cooking.

Christina Anderson is the QA/Project Coordinator and started working at KCDDS in 2021. She graduated from Umpqua Community College with an AAOT and is currently pursuing her Bachelors in Psychology from OIT. Christina grew up in Arkansas, moved to Klamath Falls in 2012 and enjoys the community and weather in this area. When she’s not working, Christina enjoys traveling, reading, painting, photography, and spending time with loved ones.
