Klamath County Economic Development Request

From Senator Merkley's Office:

Reviewing the railroad requests that KCEDA submitted. All three should be eligible for consideration. However, KCEDA is not an eligible recipient for the funds. The requests are going to have to come from Klamath County itself. If one of these projects are selected, the funding will come through the CRISI program. Under CRISI, county governments are eligible recipients, but non-profits are not. Can you check with the commissioners to see if they would be ok having the request switched over to the county. We will need to know who would be the best point of contact at the county so we can include that information in the request. We will be able to change the information on the backend.
