District Attorney Personnel Items

  • Chief Deputy District Attorney Position - $20,710.08
  • Reclassification of Eve Rogers to Deputy Medical Examiner - hourly rate $62.00 - ($165,261 annual fully loaded salary) Need to budget additional $74,373.
  • 2022-23 approved budget included duplicate OT and Elected Official wages overstating Personnel spreadsheet by $97,013.  Budget resolution prepared for adoption to match personnel budget.

ARPA Funding Requests

  • Review of funding status
  • IT request for 3 years of ESRI Enterprise version software.
  • Federal Grant conference in Portland - Natalie attended.  Reimburse Finance for conference expenses of $1,400.00

ARPA Funding Allocation List

  • Provide all of the ARPA fund allocations on the Klamath County website.

Funding Requests

  • City of Klamath Falls F-15 static display - $300,000
  • Discover Klamath - Oregon Destination Association Conference - $7,500
  • KCEDA would like to have the forfeited money from the prior year of $4,131.00 for this year's Oktoberfest.  They have been awarded $10,000 of their $20,000 ask in the Spring 2022 tourism competitive grant cycle.
  • SCOEDD is requesting $100,000 for annual support.  Prior levels = $25,000
  • Klamath Promise - Scholarships and gift cards for graduates going into the military.

Carryover to 2022-23 for Juvenile Department

  • Fee increase and $88,000 COVID benefit will create approximately $200,000 in carryover funds for 2021-22.  Juvenile is requesting to have $100,000 returned to the Juvenile building project from the General Fund Non-Departmental in July 2022.

Clarification on Klamath IDEA contract

  • Klamath IDEA did not get accepted for the RARE program.  Commissioner's had indicated that $5,000 of the contracted $20,000 would be used for that program.  Kat Rutledge is requesting permission to use the $5,000 for a high school pitch competition.
